It's Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday to you!

It has been so long since my last post! The holidays are over and the new year is in full swing and I think I should have a little more time on my hands to update here more. I trust everyone is having a great year so far!!

Today, be happy and be you. Don't forget to thank God for all the things He has given you and seen you through up to today. He's always been there for us and it is so comforting to know that He always will be, is it not? Quite beautiful, actually. ♥
Let's not forget that and leave Him waiting for a bit of our time today.

Make someone else happy! Go out of your way to do one random act of kindness for a co-worker, friend, family member or a complete stranger.

Get up and get moving! Take a walk {seriously, take a walk. there are those of us who sit at desks all day and can't. so if you're able, don't take it for granted, enjoy the beautiful outdoors!} do something to make the most of this beautiful day.

I truly hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!

Stay pretty, friends.
XOXO

Christmas Time is Here!

Oh my heavens, next week is  Christmas! Can you believe it? Where did this year goooo??
I've got my Christmas shopping done and am ready to relax and spend time with my wonderful family.
It's the cheeriest time of year and I'm wishing all of you, my sweet lovies, the happiest of Happy Holidays and the Merriest of Merry Christmas-es to you and yours!
I'm really praying that in this new coming year, I can yield more to the Lord and let Him have His way in my life. Dreaming and longing for the day we'll spend Eternity with the One who came and took on flesh, bore our pain, redeemed us and gave us everlasting life.
Merry Christmas and Happy New years to you all ♥
Isaiah 9:6
" T'was a tiny simple stable all beaten and worn, hardly a place for a King to be born. He didn't choose some place special to reveal His Majesty, so I know if I give Him control, He'll be born in me.
Let Your Word be born in the manger of my heart, let it live in me let It live in me, let It start. Live inside this house of clay and mold it everyday. Let Your Word be born in the manger of my heart.
Outwardly I'm nothing, not much to behold, unlikely a place for His Word to unfold, but if I just yield this vessel and let Him have His Way, from glory unto glory, He'll change me day by day."

Tis the Season to be Thankful!

Oh my.
Here we are at Thanksgiving once again! Oh how I do love this time of year. Everything and everyone is so thankful and that's just what this generation needs more of year around. I need to be more thankful. With the day-to-day cares of life, I tend to lose sight of all that I have and forget to be thankful for the little things so many people go without. I'm guilty of it and long to be in a spot where I take nothing for granted. Lord help me is my prayer.
Thanksgiving is such a happy day... not just because of the food (and all those yummy delicious calories that don't count because after all, it IS holiday party food;) but because it's a time of being together.. in the kitchen and around hot cocoa with daddy trying to taste everything, it's really a special time to be together and sing songs of Thanksgiving to our Lord, because without Him we would truly have nothing.
Every year,  Lydia and I argue over who's taking up the most counter space prepping and baking all the goodies to be set out for the family to devour. :) I wouldn't trade those little spats for anything. I'm VERY thankful for my family. They are my whole life, and my best friends! I dug up some little memories from last year, hope you enjoy!
Nina preparing Thanksgiving dinner, looking like a doll and keeping the kitchen spotless. This is what a true lady is. Thank you Lord for a wonderful mother and example!

Some of Nini's famous pies, let me tell you. This woman is the Queen Bee of pies. I've yet to taste better.
After dinner last year, we went to Keirland Commons in Scottsdale to walk off the turkey that so wanted us to give into the temptation of falling onto the couch only to stay for the rest of the day . We walked hand in hand and enjoyed ourselves - some of the sweetest hours spent!

Everything was so festive!!

Mauro is thee coolest kid on the block. I mean come on, look at that cool kid stance! They don't come cooler than this, my friends.
Hope you enjoyed the photos and I would like to wish you all the
 Happiest of Thanksgivings!
Don't forget to offer up a prayer of thanksgiving to the One who gave EVERYHING so that we might live and gave us the gift of Eternal Life ♥
How Blessed we are!

Happy Halloween!

It seems like just yesterday it was New Years and here we are, another year, another gorgeous October in its final closing day making way for November. I love the fall.. and Halloween (candyyyyyy)...and Thanksgiving! It's so fun to bring out all the pumpkin and spices and everything nice like that.
The smell of ginger molasses cookies, banana muffins, pumpkin pie and coffee wafting through the house;  and the warm sense of knowing that the Lord loves us so much that He gave us such a beautiful time to be thankful for family, life, and friends. So much things to be grateful for, not only in the fall and around Thanksgiving, but everyday of every year the Lord sees fit to give us here on this earth.
Let us not go a day without being grateful is my prayer!

Even though there's no trees to turn beautiful colors, and no ridiculously chilly (yet fun) days and the typical "fall-ish" things that other places get, Arizona is pretty this time of year. You take the cool 55-65 degree  mornings and evenings, the smell in the air that only a desert has in cold weather. Fall in Arizona will always be super special and I will crave it no matter where life takes me and where I end up, it will always be a part of me, my life and a big piece of my heart. :)

| L i t t l e • D a r l i n g s |

This little lady is Layla Grace.

She is 2 and a 1/2 years old and is fabulous.
She was born on a chilly day in February and has been such fun ever since I first held her in my arms. I love her as if she were my own child. She seriously is one of thee most precious (Cate being the other most precious;) little lady in the world.
She is ALL girl. Young, wild and free. She's very independent and has such a fun nature! She is a little fashionista and loves to dance! She is in fact a princess, in case you were wondering, and she wastes no time in telling people she is Cinderella. ;)
I always be sure she has the funnest of times with Auntie Cass. I realize I spoil her rotten and she is always rotten to the core after having spent time with me, but that's what we auntie's are for is it not?!?
Layla brings so much joy to the Adame family, I cannot imagine life without her sweet little smile and her little raspy voice.. <3 I could listen to her talk and sing about princesses
 All. Day. Long. :)
She is a girl after my own heart, we are like twins!
Just 19.5 years apart ;)

This other sweet lady is Cate Rose.

She is a doll....
born in the sweet sweet summer time, she has a sunny disposition to be sure. She just started walking and is EVERYWHERE now. Her toothy grin is my favorite; she is SO lovable. She's the cuddle bug and I could cuddle with her for dayys. She looks up to her sissy and follows suit to whatever shenanigans Layla is up to at the time.
She has started talking and is saying tons of little words by now and has the sweetest little mousy voice and LOVES to sing. And very beautifully, I might add. ;)
Her sweet nature makes my heart so happy, she can melt even the toughest guy ;) Cate is a sweet heart and you can tell that even though she's a 14 months she is so caring and just loves to make you smile. It's so amazing how much little ones know at such a young age. She is such a sweetie.

♥ Sweet Sisters ♥

I know to everyone, this may seem like a "brag post", and I know I'm a little biased where these little pretties are concerned but they make the lives of this Adame family happy and they have been the sweetest little blessings! Thanks to Michael and Kara for having such sweet girls that bring so much joy : )

||•Prince George Alexander Louis Cambridge •||

I was so thrilled to click onto the news today and find it was christening day for the sweet little Prince.

Because for the rest of us, that meant we were going to see his face for the first time since their family photos we released a month or so after his birth!

I have fallen in love with his little cherubim face seconds after I set eyes upon it, just as I have fallen in love with his parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. They just seem like they would be the sweetest couple to have tea with, maybe someday I will have a cup of tea with their little family ;)

These photos are from the Daily Mail

Kate

Anyone who knows me, if only a little, knew that a post about the Duchess was soon to be in order.
I just want to talk about her hair for a bit. I seriously envy her hair. Those luscious curls!
I mean come on. Really?? Can't I just have her hair and heck, be Princess for the day?! One can dream, right?

This is just unfair to the rest of us girls.

Her very essence just screams class.

And to think she JUST had Prince George... and looked this great....

I love how effortlessly stunning she is. Casually dressed in a pair of skinnies, stripe shirt, blazer and her signature wedges. When I grow up, I hope to at lest be half as amazingly classy as she.

Cheers!

Xx.
